okay, let's talk about magic

hello internet world, I'm back again from my holiday.
I don't have much time today(when do I have time?I'm sorry), but I'm going to see Hadouken! in a few hours, which is a pretty good reason. So if someone reads this post in time and is in Frankfurt, come along!
So, how surprisingly: a new Raconteurs record! You've probably read all about it in basically every blog, so this won't be any news. Consolers Of The Lonely is decent though, nice progress from Broken Boy Soldiers, but nothing spectacular. It's out since yesterday and you can get it via amazon.

had to take'em down

Konk is due in two weeks and I decided to say a few sentences about it. It's definiteley more rocky than Inside/Out, though not much different. The main topics are pretty much the same: girls, love, girls, sex, relationships, going out and so on. Nevertheless Konk's timing is perfect for being a nice summer album with light 3-4 minute songs. Can't help myself, but I'm a huge sucker for Do You Wanna. Get it here when it comes out via Virgin Records.

Else: the Ssion's Clown 7" has already been released last month aswell as their record Fools Gold, but I wanted something crazy but awesome for today, so here we are - btw Bullshit is amazing. Get it @ juno.

Ah, the Fuck Buttons's Street Horrrsing EP is pretty good, especially the 10 minute long Okay, Let's Talk About Magic - well not for you, if you can't stand the sound of screeching guitars. You can own the EP by clicking this.

As in other good electronic releases, new Cut Copy LP In Ghost Colours will be out on April, 8th via Modular Records. It's just like you'd expect their second studio record, solid electro beats, nice lyrics, perfect balance between indie and electro, kinda like a more indie based Crystal Castles. You should preorder In Ghost Colours via the label link above.

MP3: Cut Copy - Nobody Lost, Nobody Found
Coming to other good remixes, the dj duo Hooker and De Freitas have been known mainly because of their fantastic remix of Trash Fashion's Why Can't We Be Friends. So if you liked that one, you'll also like these two:
MP3: Atelier Nouveau - IMOK (hooker and de freitas remix)
MP3: Deluka - Flashback (Hooker & De Freitas remix)
see some more fantastic remixes of Trash Fashion by the duo there @ Hot Biscuits.
Now, coming to the end, I also have a few good tracks, that have been sent to me. Please check them out and also the website, which I'll keep adding to the sidebar tomorrow. You know, indie, electro and so on:
MP3: Coralcola - Gallivanter
MP3: Astronaut - Darkest Breads (Coralcola Marble Rye Remix)
MP3: Home Video - I Can Make You Feel It
MP3: Milke - I Need Your Love (Joe and Will Ask remix)
MP3: Vanilla Swingers - I'll Stay Next To You
MP3: Robert Church And The Holy Community - Sunday Love

Okay, I'm off to seeing Hadouken! now!
take care

I can't believe you compared Cut Copy to Crystal Castles. You probably should have said, "kinda like a more MUSICALLY based Crystal Castles."

Great Post, but listen to the Web Sheriff!
